The book is an excellent photographic material from the first Slovenian pilgrimage to the Holy Land 1910. The travel was attended by 540 pilgrims. Among them was the pilgrim photographer Peter Naglič from šmarca in Kamnik. He made his first recordings already in Trieste, then diligently documenting the entire journey through the Holy Land. Naglič also visited the birthplace of John the Baptist Ain Karem and excursion carriages to the Dead Sea. A record of over a hundred Naglič images represents the only source of the photo on this exciting chapter of Slovenian history.
