The legacy of the architect France Kvaternik (1933–2018). According to his plans, many churches in Slovenia were built, renovated or equipped. With this donation, the museum acquired one of the most important funds on sacral buildings in Slovenia from the second half of the 20th century. In addition to sketches and plans, we also received some of the architect's personal documents and objects. Among the most important projects of the architect France Kvaternik are the new parish churches in Škofljica near Ljubljana, in Nova Gorica, Grahovo, and according to his plans, the chapel of St. Cyril and Methodius on Molička planina (1780 m) below Ojstrica. Architecturally, he also designed, renovated or equipped sacral buildings in Vipava Križ, Sveti Višarje, Brezje, Ponikva of Bishop Slomšek, Stična, Kidričevo, Tomačevo, Logatec, Slovenj Gradec, Želimlje (extension to the gymnasium). He was also active in the area of the former Yugoslavia, where, among other things, he designed a covered space for outdoor communion in Medjugorje and enlarged the church in Đakovo.
